Kennel terms
This English translation is provided for convenience only. In case of any discrepancy, the Polish version of these terms prevails.
These terms set out the rules for contacting the Florkowo kennel, based in Poland, and for reserving and collecting toy poodle puppies. Using the contact form or making a reservation constitutes acceptance of the conditions below.
§ 1. General provisions
- Florkowo is a private, home-based toy poodle kennel run out of passion for the breed.
- All puppies are raised in a family home, in direct contact with people.
- The kennel operates in accordance with the applicable Polish animal-protection laws.
- You can contact the kennel through the form on this website, by e-mail or by phone.
§ 2. Inquiries and the contact form
- The contact form is intended solely for informational inquiries. Submitting the form does not constitute a reservation or a contract.
- The kennel reserves the right not to respond to anonymous or incomplete inquiries.
- We usually reply within 1–3 working days.
- The kennel may refuse to sell a puppy without giving a reason if it considers that the conditions offered by the buyer do not ensure the animal's welfare.
§ 3. Reserving a puppy
- A puppy is reserved after:
- an initial conversation with the breeder,
- mutually agreeing the conditions,
- signing a reservation contract,
- paying a deposit in an individually agreed amount (usually 30–50% of the price).
- The deposit is a deposit within the meaning of Article 394 of the Polish Civil Code.
- If the buyer withdraws, the deposit is forfeited.
- If the kennel withdraws, the deposit is returned in double the amount.
- The pick-up date is agreed individually and confirmed in writing.
§ 4. Price and payment
- The price of a puppy is set individually and communicated by the breeder during the initial conversation.
- The remaining amount is payable in cash or by bank transfer on the day of pick-up.
- The price of the puppy includes the items listed in §5.
§ 5. What does the buyer receive?
The price of the puppy includes:
- the puppy's pedigree or birth certificate (ZKwP — the Polish Kennel Club, FCI member),
- an up-to-date health record book with completed vaccinations and deworming,
- a veterinary certificate confirming the puppy's health on the day of pick-up,
- a starter kit with food, a toy or a blanket carrying a familiar scent,
- the breeder's support after pick-up — availability by e-mail and phone.
§ 6. Health guarantee
- The puppy leaves the kennel healthy and examined by a veterinarian.
- The breeder is not liable for illnesses contracted after the day of pick-up.
- If a genetic defect is confirmed by a veterinarian within 7 days of pick-up, the kennel will consider the claim individually.
- The buyer undertakes to provide the puppy with proper veterinary care, appropriate nutrition and good living conditions.
§ 7. Picking up the puppy
- Puppies are collected in person at the kennel, after they are 8 weeks old.
- In justified cases transport can be arranged — conditions and costs are agreed individually.
- The buyer undertakes to collect the puppy on the agreed date. A delay of more than 14 days without prior arrangement with the breeder may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
§ 8. Animal welfare
- The buyer declares that they are purchasing the puppy solely for non-commercial purposes — as a companion animal.
- The buyer undertakes to treat the puppy in accordance with the Polish Animal Protection Act of 21 August 1997.
- If the buyer is no longer able to care for the dog, they undertake to inform the breeder, who has the right of first refusal to buy the dog back.
§ 9. Final provisions
- In matters not covered by these terms, Polish law applies, in particular the Civil Code.
- Any disputes will be settled by the competent court in accordance with the applicable law.
- The kennel reserves the right to amend these terms. Amendments take effect on the day they are published on this website.
